Our Story

Mari Swim was founded by Emma Hanney. After spending countless hours diving and immersing herself in the ocean, Emma struggled to find the one perfect suit — something elegant, yet functional and sustainable.

This led to the creation of Mari Swim, with a mission to craft flattering and functional suits that stay in place during all your ocean adventures.

Through Mari Swim Club, we aim to foster a sense of togetherness and connection among women who share a passion for the ocean. Looking ahead, we aspire to build a community that goes beyond swimwear.

We embrace the slow-fashion movement by producing consciously and running small batches, ensuring quality whilst reducing waste and over-production. Your Mari suits will last you season after season.

Crafted from recycled plastic and waste (78% recycled nylon, 22% elastane), our luxurious fabric offers the same strength, durability and versatility as new nylon — without the use of non-renewable fossil fuels.
